Should I rewrite my vibe-coded app from scratch?
Usually not as a first step. Many apps need a handful of targeted fixes. A rewrite is the right call only after someone has read the code and can tell you exactly why fixing it would cost more
Your app was built fast with AI and now something is wrong. Here is who can fix it, what they should do before they quote, the questions to ask and the red flags to walk away from
Each one shows what the AI wrote, what it should have written, and how to check your own app
Pick someone who reads your code and the live app before they quote, explains the problems in plain English, ranks them by what they would cost you, fixes what you have before suggesting a rewrite, hands over the code and every account, and stays reachable after launch. Ask to see apps they have fixed that are still live today.

It depends on what is broken, which is why the first step should always be reading the code. Anyone who quotes a firm number before looking is guessing. At Blinkz every job is quoted on a free call
Sometimes, for a single bug you can describe. It cannot tell you which of your problems matter most, and it will not notice the ones nobody asked it about, like missing backups or data that other users can read
An app check takes five business days at Blinkz and tells you what is wrong and how to fix it. How long the fixes take depends on what the check finds, and that gets agreed before any work starts
There are four kinds of people you can call, and each one suits a different situation.
They should read the code and use the live app. They should ask what depends on it: users, payments, a launch date, an investor demo. A quote given before anyone has looked at the code is a guess, and you end up paying for the guess when it turns out wrong.
By the end of the first week you should have a ranked list of what is wrong, the fix for each problem, and a clear answer on whether the app needs small repairs or real rebuilding. You should understand all of it without a developer in the room.
We start with an app check. In five business days an engineer reads what the AI wrote, ranks what will break and writes the fix for each problem, and you keep the report whether or not we do the fixes. If the app needs real work, we do it as a build or rescue with the scope agreed before any code. If you want one engineer responsible for it every month after that, that is on call.
You can read what an app check covers in full, or see the most common problems in our AI Code Fixes series.

You’ll leave the call knowing what’s risky and what to do next
