Frequently Asked Questions
Questions founders ask before working with Blinkz. For formal terms, see the Services Agreement.
What does Blinkz do?
Blinkz is a software and AI studio that builds custom SaaS products, AI agents, workflow automation, and voice AI for founders and small-to-mid-sized businesses. Blinkz handles the full build end-to-end: product scoping, design, development, AI integration, deployment, and post-launch support — all under fixed pricing.
How much does Blinkz charge?
Fixed pricing across three tiers. Launchpad starts at $6,999 for a full MVP build. Growth starts at $13,999 and includes AI agent systems, RAG integration, and MCP connections. Enterprise is custom-priced for multi-platform builds, multi-agent orchestration, and private AI deployment.
How long does a typical project take?
Most projects ship in 6 to 8 weeks from scoping call to launch. MVP builds on the Launchpad tier typically complete in 4 to 6 weeks. Larger multi-agent or enterprise systems take 8 to 12 weeks depending on scope. Clients receive weekly progress updates throughout the build.
Does Blinkz build custom AI agents or just integrate existing tools?
Blinkz builds custom AI agents from scratch — multi-agent orchestration systems, voice AI agents, RAG-based knowledge systems, and MCP integrations that connect AI to business tools like CRMs, Slack, email, and databases. Pre-built AI tools are used only when they are the right fit for the client's need.
How is Blinkz different from hiring a freelancer or a traditional agency?
One team, fixed pricing, end-to-end delivery. Freelancers often disappear mid-project and lack the breadth to handle AI, backend, frontend, and deployment. Traditional agencies charge hourly rates that balloon and use account managers as middlemen. Blinkz gives founders direct access to the builders, a locked-in price, and a shipped product.
Do you work with non-technical founders?
Yes. Blinkz specializes in working with non-technical founders who have a clear business idea but no engineering team. Scoping calls translate business goals into a technical build plan. Weekly updates are in plain language, and post-launch support includes walkthroughs and documentation for non-technical operators.
What happens after my project launches?
Every project includes post-launch support: 30 days on Launchpad, 60 days on Growth, and a dedicated team on Enterprise. Support covers bug fixes, deployment help, and small feature adjustments. Ongoing retainer and feature-build arrangements are available after the included support window ends.
Can I see examples of projects Blinkz has shipped?
Blinkz has shipped products including OpMap, LeadHarvest, MFiatsi, GoalFest 2026, Shoots2Drop, VibeVault, Simple Media, VeloxScripts, and Insend. Full case studies for each project are available at /case-studies.
Who owns the code and designs Blinkz builds for me?
Blinkz holds title to custom deliverables until full cash payment for the engagement, at which point ownership transfers to the client. Blinkz retains a non-exclusive license to reuse general patterns, non-client-specific code, and methodologies on future projects. If an engagement includes equity or deferred cash as part of consideration, Blinkz retains majority decision-making over the IP until cash is paid in full. Full terms are in the Services Agreement at /legal/services-agreement.
How does payment work?
Each engagement is documented in a Statement of Work (SOW) that defines scope, fees, and the payment schedule. Default split is 50% on engagement start and 50% on delivery. Invoices are due within 14 days; after 14 days overdue, work pauses and 1.5%/month interest accrues. Third-party expenses (cloud, API credits, domains, etc.) are passed through at cost, with any single expense over $250 requiring pre-approval.
What if I need to cancel mid-project?
You can cancel at any time with written notice. You'll pay for work performed through the cancellation date plus a kill fee of 25% of the remaining unpaid fees under the SOW. IP ownership only transfers for deliverables that have been fully paid for.
Can Blinkz work with EU or international companies?
Yes. Default currency is USD, but EUR and GBP are available on request (client covers FX or wire fees). For EU/UK/Swiss clients whose engagement involves personal data, Blinkz signs a standard Data Processing Addendum (DPA) with Standard Contractual Clauses to meet GDPR Article 28 requirements.
Does Blinkz use AI to build my project?
Yes. Blinkz uses modern AI-assisted development tools — code assistants, LLM-based agents, and AI-powered automation — as part of the standard workflow. Where a project involves sending client-confidential data to third-party AI providers (e.g., building a RAG system on top of your documents), the specific providers and data flows are documented in the SOW or a Data Processing Addendum.
How is an engagement with Blinkz formally agreed?
By signing a Statement of Work (SOW) that references the Services Agreement at /legal/services-agreement, or by paying the first invoice Blinkz issues for the engagement — either constitutes binding acceptance. Specific scope, fees, timeline, and any client-specific modifications live in the SOW.
Can Blinkz showcase my project publicly?
Yes, by default. Blinkz may reference the engagement — name, logo, general description, anonymized screenshots — in case studies and marketing materials unless you opt out in writing before the engagement starts or upon delivery. Client Confidential Information is never published.
Do I need my own lawyer to sign?
Not required, but recommended for any engagement over $25,000 or involving equity, sensitive data, or regulated industries. The Services Agreement is a public document; you can review it at /legal/services-agreement before any scoping call.
